Easy Guide to Removing Your Acrylic Nails
You have probably enjoyed your acrylic nails but after a few weeks or so, you would like to remove it perhaps because it is already chipping or perhaps because you would like to give your nails a bit of a rest.
Going to the manicurists to have it removed may cost you to spend extra money and it can also be time consuming. For busy people or for those who would like to remove their fake nails at home, here are some tips on how to do it by yourself:
–Use nail clippers in order for you to cut you acrylic nails. Carefully clip it most especially when you had your fake nails done very long. Start by cutting the sides.
–Using the nail file, carefully remove the top coat.
–For removing the color, use a non acetone based nail polish remover. Apply it on the cotton and place on the nail. Wrap the cotton ball in the nail using a foil. Do this for all fingers. After a couple of minutes, remove the foil and the cotton soaked with nail polish remover.
–The color will easy peel off but try using a cloth to help remove the color
–Gently wash your hands with soap and water and towel dry. Use your scented oil or lotion and apply a generous amount on your hands to keep it soft. This will also help to make the texture of your nails smooth because using different chemicals such as acrylic can cause it to dry.
